Amol Pawar’s work is steeped in Indian mythology and his love for calligraphy, texture, nature, and animals, is reflected in every painting. When you see his series of paintings on ‘Sadhu’ you will be struck with his choice of colors – the reds and yellows of the sunset against the impassive yet spiritual aura of his subjects.
He has also done a series on the Indian gods and goddesses rendering a unique perspective. Amol’s way of drawing the figures is to give long strokes instead of eyes. This depiction makes the figures look dynamic and alive on canvas.
