Working primarily in oil, contemporary Indian artist Madhuri Bhaduri exquisitely renders the ever-changing colors of the sky, earth and water. She is particularly influenced by the Impressionist masters of the 19th century, as her landscape paintings similarly focus on the effects of light and weather on nature’s appearance. Yet while she captures such fleeting moments, there is also a deep sense of serenity in her images.
The artist’s major themes include Horizons, on the hopeful boundlessness of the skyline; Moon, on the mysteriousness of the moon throughout its phases; and Reflections, on the mesmerising shimmers of water. However, art by Madhuri Bhaduri explores not only these natural landscapes but also emotional ones. As she explains this metaphorical connection, “For me a canvas is not just a visual expanse. It often maps the mood that I am in, and my introspection of my life, my feelings and thoughts at that point of time.”

My wife and I saw Mr JMS Mani’s paintings at her BFF’s place and fell in love with his work. And what does this BFF do? She has two Mani’s commissioned through Anasha Art for our 50th birthdays! They are absolutely stunning. They bring warmth and colour to our living room! Our friend said the credit all goes to Anahita and Shayal. They spoke to Mr Mani about the painting, they did the framing, the delivering. Our friend says these two ladies are a powerhouse! My wife and I wish them well! PS: The BFF thinks our paintings are better than hers!

Anasha Art’s role in promoting Indian Artists and Art is stellar. I have the good fortune of living with paintings collected over 27 years..it brings me great joy and a deep respect for the artists. The ease, transparency and honour by which business is conducted by art gallery @anasha.art, is everything and more, anyone seeking to buy genuine, authentic, artist-endorsed works by famous Indian painters and artists, could wish for, to acquire and own.I have had the greatest of pleasure to buy and own gorgeously fantastic work of art by Nagesh Ghodke, Ranadip Mukherjee, Murli Nagapuzha, as well as Subrata Das from gallerists Anahita Taunk and Shayal Taunk @anasha.art.My paintings make me smile in real pleasure and delight. Everyday.
My mother and her nagging sent me online to Anasha Art. And now of course, she says “I told you so!” every time she visits and sees the three Ranadips in my living room. Anahita and Shayal went the extra mile in guiding me with the types of frames and took me to their framer and got everything organised for me. Wow! They’re a powerful duo!
Anahita Taunk has been a friend for the past 40 years and I have seen Shayal since she was a toddler. I had always admired Anahita’s elegant aesthetics and her innate artistic eye. Anasha Art was a success right off the block with dual creative energy behind them. When my son and daughter-in-law bought their new home in Los Angeles, I wanted to gift them a painting that would reflect India but also compliment their California home. A brief conversation with Anahita and the result was a beautiful Sagare in a blue palette that was a perfect fit! Next, I saw a Sagare in yellow palette on Anasha website and it was love at first sight. I was deeply disappointed when I found out it was sold, but once again Anasha worked their magic and I got a commissioned work which was even better, as both Anahita and Shayal worked with the Artist to put in some special touches. This stunning piece has captivated everyone who has seen it in our home. Thanks Anahita and Shayal for the creative joy and beauty you have added to the Sharma homes!

I am pleased to mention that I have had an extremely smooth and enjoyable experience with the promoters of Anasha Art, Anahita and Shayal.
I own a Sachin Sagare painting from their online Art Gallery. The painting was specially commissioned for me, and at every stage I was kept informed regarding the colour specifications to suit my interiors and the imagination of the artist, along with all due consideration being given to my beliefs too. And, lo and behold the painting arrived in the timeframe advised. Shayal also helped me in advising a suitable frame for it. It looks captivating and has received a lot of admiration from friends and family around. I wish them all the best in the future! Thank you, mom and daughter duo, for the high professionalism extended.
Anahita and Shayal at Anasha Art showcase such beautiful paintings of our talented Indian artists. Sure wish I had more wall space! I’m the happy owner of two Arup Lodh racecourse scenes that bring back childhood memories of the Calcutta racecourse! And two hauntingly beautiful scenes of Benares in the evening by Ranadip Mukherjee.I had them framed here in Singapore and the three clients in the store along with the framers, ooohed and aaahed over the paintings! Thank you, Anahita and Shayal! Looking for more wall space!
