Vivek Nimbolkar completed his MFA (Painting) from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad, Maharashtra. He has had several solo shows and participated in various group exhibitions throughout his career. Through a minimalist approach, he utilizes a vast pictorial vocabulary—free from limitation— to highlight specific moments and forms drawn from an extensive internal resource of nature. His work is characterized by stylized abstract forms that maintain a definite structure and rhythmic drawing. Within a constructed pictorial parameter, he explores the interplay of decorative and expressive elements, entangling vibrant colors with rich textures and deliberate compositions. The use of intellectual geometry—circles, triangles, rectangles, and lines—communicates directly with the viewer’s perspective. Each piece is designed to complement the others, creating a cohesive journey through a landscape of the spirit. “All artistic creation is a form of imitation, yet my work seeks to transcend mere representation to express a profound spiritual affection for the natural world. My paintings serve as a primary medium for translating my experiences into a visual language, offering a sense of oneness with the vast universe.”
