A multi-disciplinary artist, Ritu Kamath’s art transcends beyond the immediate and the personal to the level of the eternal and the universal. Having completed her BFA in Painting and Sculpture at Jamia Milia Islamia University and an MA in Art and Aesthetics in Gwalior, Kamath has traversed diverse mediums before focusing on the exploration of nature's beauty on canvas. Her primary concern has been to create beauty and impact whether she is exploring the feminine form or exploring satires or themes of urban breakdown digitally in print series. With a remarkable career featuring over 10 solo shows and close to 90 group exhibitions, Kamath has made a significant impact in the art world. Notable exhibitions include 'The Stillness of Life and Nature’s Voice' at Kalakriti Art Gallery, Hyderabad, and 'I-seek, (stories from studio 727)' at Lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi. Her art has also reached international audiences, with a featured online exhibition hosted by Galleria Quarentena in Chile.
