Dr. Rambali Prajapati is a recipient of the National Award, the President’s Award, and the Senior Fellowship Award from the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. He was born into a modest potter family in the Mau district of Uttar Pradesh. His childhood was devoted to crafting idols and toys of gods and goddesses, a tradition deeply rooted in his family heritage. His paintings revolve around profound themes such as Music, Nature, and Udaan (Flight), reflecting harmony, aspiration, and the rhythm of life. As a sculptor, he has explored concepts like books, schools, and the “Life of Stairs”, blending symbolism with form.
