Dinkar Jadhav received a General Diploma in Art in 1994 at the Abhinava Kala Mahavidyalaya in Pune. The artist is inspired by the natural world. He primarily paints horses and bulls, focusing differently on their dynamic and loving energy. Dinkar has spent many years intimately studying his subjects and this knowledge translates into immensely powerful artwork. The early 20th century saw the rise of Cubism, an avant-garde movement that still inspires artists globally. Drawn to this unique style, Dinkar Jadhav started crafting his favourite subjects into cubist forms. Dinkar’s paintings display compartments of colour in blocks, geometrical forms, and sharp angles. He creates a crayon-like texture in his artworks with acrylic colours through a unique technique of painting several intricate transparent layers. A professional artist since 1994, Dinkar Jadhav has held many group and solo shows across India. He lives and works in Pune.
