Anand Bekwad obtained a diploma in Drawing and Painting from Belgaum, Karnataka. He has completed 70 to 80 paintings in his Varanasi series and has exhibited this series at prominent venues such as Kalakruti Art Gallery and the Jehangir Art Gallery. Bekwad captures the essence of Varanasi through his vibrant and joyful paintings. His canvas is pulsating with the dynamic energy, diversity and richness of the historic city. He incorporates fresh colors, geometric shapes and lines to create striking compositions.
