And two hauntingly beautiful scenes of Benares in the evening by Ranadip Mukherjee.
I had them framed here in Singapore and the three clients in the store along with the framers, ooohed and aaahed over the paintings!

Jagannath Paul is deeply influenced by the Cubist art form of the post modern era. His figures often depicted with elongated features and closed eyes, do not seek to resemble, but to reflect. They are vessels of emotion, poised between abstraction and intimacy.
His visual vocabulary, built on solid geometries and stark contrasts, mirrors the complexity of relationships – fluid yet structured, personal yet universal. Paul maps the unspoken territories between man and woman, longing and contentment, solitude and unity, which almost feels like walking into a hushed conversation – the kind that happens in the quiet of shared glances, of unvoiced thoughts.
